Koh fall/winter 2010 zen collection: Peace!

Let's start with sending some peace into the world wide web ;) Koh peace! looks like milk chocolate in  the bottle (YUM!) but once on the nail it turns a hint softer and the color shows it warm side in sunlight and her cool side in regular daylight. Laat ik eens wat vrede brengen op het world wide web ;) Koh Peace lijkt in de flacon op een melkchocoladebruin (YUM!) maar wordt op de nagel iets zachter van kleur en zonlicht haalt de warme kant van deze lak naar voren en daglicht de koele kant. Some upcoming stuff and CG Vintage Vixen First class ticket

Here are some pics of polishes I am swatching (this morning I did 12..ugh....) I will post them asap :) In the meanwhile...some pics of china glaze vintage vixens first class ticket. A pretty purple, but I always have to warm up to purple's a little.....still a pretty polish that is ready to take off in just 2 coats. Enjoy!

Sparitual fall 2010 Imagine collection

One of my favorite brands has to be sparitual altough I do not own many of their polishes, that has to change soon! Een van mijn favoriete merken is toch wel Sparitual ook al heb ik nog maar erg weinig lakken van dit mooie merk, maar daar gaat snel verandering in komen, kijk maar eens naar hun nieuwe collectie voor de herfst, ik ga er snel een paar bestellen, zowiezo staan Dreams becoming reality, a world of compassion en Living in the moment al op mijn verlanglijstje, zie jij er ook wat moois tussen?

Let's include one of my favorite colors, I am the light, looks like a dull lavender pinkish polish, but I don't know how they do it, but once on the nail, it looks like it is lit from within, serene, soothing and empowering. This is a creme polish with a kick! Enjoy!

Laat ik een van mijn favoriete kleuren toevoegen, I am the ligt, het lijkt wellicht een beetje saai lilaroze, maar vraag me niet hoe ze het doen, deze kleur straalt, alsof er licht van binnenuit komt, een hele serene, kalme en zelfverzekerde kleur. Dit is een cremelak met kick! Enjoy!

b-day shopping spree (lancôme, herôme...longchamp yay!) & swatches

I finally spend my b-day cash and the catch is awesome (so I think ;) I got some new eyepencils, some new polishes and removers and a new grey metallic hairclip (the Damselle hair asseccories are the best, others won't even last a week...). From Lancome I got 2 new pencils of their fall 2010 French Coquettes collection, 06 macadam grey (dark grey) and 05 bloody black cherry (deep burgundy with glitter, think rouge noir polish plus glitter ;) and from YSL I got a pencil in no 11 vert stellaire (soft green with gold shimmer, I think it will be a great match with zoya midori). I also picked up 2 bottles of remover, my favorite from Herôme and a new one from Sally hansen (i already own the green one so I was curious about this one (I just used tje pink one during swatching and it does dry out my cuticles so that was a little disappointing..). I also got some new polishes from WIC, Kingston(beige holo yay!) and Bombay (jeans blue with gold/copper shimmer) and a new one from Mavala #154 Aquamarine...could it be related to Chanel Jade???? (I don't own that unfortunately so I am unable to tell...) anyway it's a beautiful jade polish with pretty green and blue shimmer. I will swatch these soon.

Ik heb eindelijk mijn verjaardagscentjes misbruikt en heb een paar leuke dingen gescoord. Ik heb onder andere een paar nieuwe oogpotloden aangeschaft en een fijne nieuwe haarspeld van damselle (al die andere merken vallen bij mij na een week al van ellende uit elkaar, deze zijn waanzinnig stevig) Van Lancôme heb ik 2 nieuwe poltloden uit de herfstlook 2010 French coquettes gekocht, 06 macadam grey (antracietgrijs) en 05 bloody black cherry (diep wijnrood met glitter, zeg maar rouge noir met glitter;) en van YSL heb ik een potlood in kleur 11 vert stellaire, groen met gouden shimmer (zoya midori zou een leuke match zijn voor bij dit potloodje). Ik heb ook weer 2 verse flacons remover meegenomen, mijn favoriet van Herôme en een nieuwe van Sally hansen, ik heb de groene al dus dacht laat ik de roze eens proberen (en dat heb ik vanmorgen gedaan tijdens het swatchen en al na 2 keer removen (volgens mij geen officieel woord maar je snapt wat ik bedoel toch? haha) zag ik dat mijn nagelriemen al flink aan het uitdrogen waren...dus dat is een beetje jammer). Ik heb ook een paar leuke nieuwe lakjes gescoord, Bombay (jeansblauw met gouden/koperen shimmer) en Kingston (beige holo joepie!) van WIC en van Mavala heb ik #154 Aquamarine, zou het een zusje van Jade kunnen zijn? (helaas heb ik geen vergelijkmateriaal...zucht) het is in ieder geval een hele mooie jadegroene lak met subtiele blauwe en groene shimmer. Swatches coming soon!

It did not end there you know....I also got 2 great fall items, (well actually these are fabulous all year, anytime anyhwere) 2 brand new Longhamp pliage bags, one in praline (the beige one, think of the chocolates....) and one in Myrtille (deep purple). These bags are amazing! not the cheapest around, but I own 5 of them now (i know......) but my first one just celebrated her 5th birthday with me and still looks great haha) one downside, there is so much space in there you could hurt yourself and your back by carrying around way too much stuff haha. Pfew...i am really happy with this, now I am going to clean up my closet and exchange the summer stuff for my fall winter clothes...and after that have a great long walk with the dogs and enjoy the fall weather. En daar hield het niet op....Ik heb ook 2 geweldige herfstitems aangeschaft (eigenlijk zijn deze het hele jaar door fantastisch, overal en altijd) 2 splinternieuwe Lonchamp pliage tassen, eentje in de kleur praline (denk maar aan de chocolaatjes...) en eentje in de kleur Myrtille (diep donkerpaars). Deze tassen zijn zo fijn! niet de allergoedkoopste, maar ik heb er nu 5 (ja.....ik weet het...slik) maar mijn allereerste is nu al 5 jaar bij mij en ziet er nog errug goed uit voor haar tassenleeftijd (ze kunnen zelfs in de wasmachine!) Er is slechts een nadeel.....er kan zoveel in dat je jezelf zo een hernia tilt aan je tas als je niet uitkijkt... Zo....ik ben echt blij met mn spulletjes, ik ga even mijn garderope updaten en opruimen, al het zomerspul eruit en alle winterspullen er weer netjes in en daarna maar eens een lekkere wandeling maken met de hondjes en genieten van het herfstzonnetje.Geniet en maak er ook een fijne dag van!

very very busy weekend......

I am having the busiest weekend ever....NOT! I am having a huge pile of new september and october magazines and nothing beats cuddling up at the couch with a cup of tea, my dachshies and the magazines. ope you have a great weekend too! Ik heb het drukte weekend ooit....niet dus! Ik heb een gigantische stapel september en oktober tijdschriften en niets zo lekker als op de bank hangen met een grote mok thee, mijn teckels en een stapel tijdschriften. Hoop dat je ook een heerlijk weekend hebt! Morgen laat ik je het resultaat van mijn shopexpeditie van eerder deze week zien... Ps de fotoshoot van Jennifer Aniston in de harper's bazaar is echt briljant, een abonnement op dit amerikaanse blad is goedkoper dan je denkt, check deze site voor abonnementen, http://subscribe.hearstmags.com/circulation/shared/index.html uiteraard komen er verzendkosten bij maar dan nog is het vaak voordeliger dan een abonnement op een Nederlands modeblad, Enjoy! I was a little fed up with glitters but now I am back in love with them :) I looove glitters and this is not only great for halloween, it's a lovely fall color as well, reminds me of moss and rich orange autumn colored leaves....This is 2 coats. Enjoy!

Ik was ze een beetje beu, maar nu vind ik glitters weer helemaal leuk! Deze glitterlak is niet alleen errug leuk voor halloween, het is een zeer geschikte herfstkleur, het doet me een beetje denken aan mos en kleurige oranje herfstbladeren...Dit zijn 2 laagjes. Enjoy!
